MZW Championship is a professional wrestling championship, created and promoted by Maniac Zone Wrestling as their top championship.

Statistics

History

The title was introduced at MZW Champions War II, in a match between Justin Joy and Shadow, with Justing emerging as the first champion. So far, the title was vacated twice in its history. First, Asmund vacated it immediately after winning it for the second time, announcing his retirement from in-ring competition.

At Project 7: Golden Road, a special tournament was held to establish championship contenders. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, no events could be held and the vacancy was prolonged until Project 8: Golden Road Finals, where Rafael Kid emerged victorious against the winner of Project Basement - Aron Wake. However, soon after that Rafael Kid left the organization, de facto vacating the belt for the second time. This was not announced until MZW Game ON, almost two years later.

Belt design

The championship belt is rather bulky in size compared to others. Its most recognizable feature is the belt color, which is slick neon-green resembling the organization's main brand color. The center design shows big "MZW" and "Champion" text on a steel-coloured metal plate, with darker gradients in the middle, and decorations resembling cracks or explosions. Side plates use the same color scheme, with the left sideplate presenting a map of Poland, and the right one a white eagle, from the Polish coat of arms.
