MZW Tag Team Championship is a defunct professional wrestling championship, which was created and promoted by Maniac Zone Wrestling as their tag team division championship.

Statistics

History

MZW introduced this title at the first Beatdown, where Zbójnicy (Jędruś Bułecka & Stanisław Van Dobroniak) contested for the title against a team of Red Thunder and Kripto, with the former team becoming inaugural champions. The last champions were Wataha (Justin Joy and Apollo Anderson), however at MZW Project 3: Black & White, the team members turned on each other, with Apollo beating up Justin and taking both of the championship belts with him. The championship was subsequently vacated by Jędruś Bułecka at MZW Project 4: Open Your Eyes.

Belt design

Compared to the MZW Championship belt, it was rather simple and modest. The main plate was elliptical and grey-coloured, with a simple "MZW" logo, then "Tag Team" and "Championship" placed respectively above and below the logo. Triangle-shaped sideplates showed the Polish flag, with an eagle (from the Polish coat of arms) overlaid on top. Plates were affixed to plain black leather. There was no engravings or detailed design, as all of the logos, text and decorations were simply glued onto the plates.

The belts are featured in the show poster for MZW Champions War III.
