Don Roid 🇺🇸

Don Roid, an American from Pennsylvania, started his in-ring career in 2001 and wrestled for several promotions in the US and Western Europe, before coming to Poland in the latter half of the 2000s. In 2008 he created an account on the Wrestling Attitude forum, asking about the state of wrestling in Poland - having found out that it's nonexistent, Roid made the decision to start his own promotion and in 2009 Do Or Die Wrestling officially started, based in Warsaw.

After about a year in the capital, DDW moved to Rzeszów and eventually to Gdańsk. Since the move proved inconvenient to Roid due to the distance involved, he became increasingly less hands-on in the running of the promotion. Finally, in 2015, he decided to close down the door on DDW and sell the ring to the other members of the roster, who then went on to create Kombat Pro Wrestling later that year. Roid then retired from wrestling and became a commentator for a variety of combat sports.

In 2023 Don Roid appeared at the KPW summer training camp, and talked to the camera praising the way that KPW has developed since he stepped down from wrestling, and how the organization exceeded his expectations. He offered to come back, in a training role rather than as a wrestler, and to support the organization.
