Bad Trip are a Polish tag team consisting of Gustav Gryffin & Goblin.

History

PpW Ewenement Pro Wrestling (2026-)

Initially bitter enemies, Gustav and Goblin were pushed by circumstances to form an uneasy alliance. At Mistrzowskie Rozdanie 2 Gustav - then a member of Zmowa - turned on the stable leader Mister Z, turning face in the process. Later at Wjazd Na Rewir Gryffin severed the remaining ties to the group by helping Goblin get the upper hand over Mister Z. As Surowy Klimat, GobLis teamed up with Gryffin to face the members of Zmowa. Reluctant to team up with Gryffin, Axel Fox turned on his team by refusing to tag in, thus putting an end to GobLis and joining Zmowa in the process.

Goblin then suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of another Zmowa member, Olgierd, at Duch Świąt, Smak Krwi, losing his PpW Championship in the process. In a segment taped post-show Gryffin confronted Zmowa looking to regain his title, but Mister Z forced Gryffin into a tag team with Goblin. Afterwards in another segment Gustav faced Goblin, who lamented his loss while drinking beers and listening to Creed's One Last Breath in the shower. Gryffin relayed the news about earning them a chance to confront Zmowa and win the Tag Team Championships. This segment marked the end of Goblin's facepaint gimmick.

At the following show the two former PpW Champions reluctantly teamed up, first defeating Rodzina and subsequently Zmowa, making their way into the already ongoing PpW Tag Team Championship tournament, as "Golden Opportunity" (Złoty Strzał).

Becoming Bad Trip

In the build-up to Dwa Na Dwa, just days before Trzeba Być, PpW released an Instagram reel. In this short story Gustav returns home and is surprised to find Goblin already there, beer in hand, despite the house being locked. Gustav is startled, while Goblin explains that he's there to spend time together and devise a plan of action for their upcoming match against Zmowa. Next, the two sit on a couch, Goblin once more with a beer while Gustav seems to prefer coffee. They are watching a wrestling match on TV, and when the camera pans to the screen, the match can be identified as Samoa Joe vs Necro Butcher from 2005. In the next scene, Gustav plays a video game, while Goblin recalls that their entire preceding story seemed like a "giga bad trip", which Gustav latches onto. The reel ends with the opening notes of what would become Bad Trip's entrance music.

Championship pursuit

The new team initially lost to Zmowa & Rodzina at Dwa Na Dwa, but scored their first win in an Anarchy Cyclone match at Jeszcze Jedno. Eventually their cooperation would pay off, as they snatched the PpW Tag Team Championship from Zmowa at Ledwo Legalne 6. Over the next months, they confronted various contenders for the titles, succesfully retaining.
